God, who made us, knows us. He knows our every weakness; he knows our trials, our worries, and our fears…

And he cares! 

He knows our heartache because his heart was broken. He knows our loneliness because he, too, was alone…

And he cares! 

He cares, but not with the helplessness of man--he cares, and he comforts us with his love.

He has provided a place of rest for those who are weary, and he has provided comfort for those who are lonely. He gives strength to the weak and he lifts up the broken hearted…

He cares!

Father, he prayed, give your life to them even as you gave it to me.

They are not worthy, my son, the father said. But Jesus said, “I love them and they love me--give them my righteousness, count their faith as my righteousness,” and it was so.

Then he authored our faith and completed it…

He cares!

When the day seems long and our strength is small, he says, “Come to me and my strength will be yours”…

He cares!

When the night is darkand we seem to have lost our way--when all seems hopeless and we feel alone, he says, “Lo, I am with you always” our soul hears, our spirit is lifted and his peace removes our fears…

He cares! 

oh hallelujah--i am not left desolate! i am not forsaken! my strength has gone but his strength has come to stay! i have been made alive again because he loves me. his mercy has covered my sins--they are no more! he has brought me into fellowship with the almighty--in him i am reconcilled to god. i have been lifted by his strong arms. i am not alone because…
