Prose by Warren Rogers

The King and I
In this earthen vessel lives an Eternal Spirit.
Within this space called time dwells a timeless life.

Though flesh and blood shall not inherit God’s Kingdom, yet miraculously the King is here.

‘Tis a new birth phenomena—a creation Divine.

Oh, wonder of wonders—the tongue can scarce relate.
One with Him now glorified—time has ceased to be.

Eternal Life has come—

Former things are passed away. All is new—

The King and I—we abide together!
